A busy, reputable local cafeteria located around **Mayor’s Street in Buea** is seeking a dedicated and hardworking **Cafeteria Assistant** to join our food service team. ### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Food Preparation:** Expertly prepare, season, and cook a variety of fried foods and local cafeteria snacks according to health and safety standards.
* **Customer Service:** Welcome customers warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food efficiently with a polite and respectful attitude.
* **Kitchen Maintenance:** Maintain strict cleanliness across the kitchen, washing areas, and dining spaces. Ensure all utensils and cooking equipment are deeply sanitized daily.
* **Inventory Support:** Monitor kitchen supplies and assist in tracking ingredients to prevent shortages during peak hours.
### **Job Requirements & Qualifications**
* **Age Requirement:** Applicants must be **23 years of age or older**.
* **Experience:** Proven prior experience working in a cafeteria, restaurant, or fast-food establishment is required.
* **Location:** Must permanently reside around **Mayor’s Street, Buea**, or within close, manageable walking distance to ensure punctuality.
* **Specialized Skill:** Demonstrated expertise in commercial food frying and fast-paced snack preparation.
* **Personal Attributes:** Must be exceptionally clean, honest, humble, duty-conscious, and ready to take initiative under minimal supervision.
